Turkey condemns the armed attack on the convoy of Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on March 13.

The Foreign Ministry noted that Turkey also calls on Palestinians to act in unity and solidarity against this provocative attack.

An explosion hit the convoy of Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah upon his entrance into the Gaza Strip on March 13.

The explosive device detonated shortly after the PM's convoy passed through the Erez checkpoint, in the West Bank, to the Gaza Strip, controlled by Hamas.

Reportedly, the police in the Gaza Strip had detained several suspects in the attack against the convoy of the Palestinian prime minister.
