Iran, Azerbaijan, Russia may establish energy corridor


(MENAFN) A joint energy corridor may be established by Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan, according to the Azerbaijani Minister of Economy.

Shahin Mustafaye made the remarks at the 12th meeting of Azerbaijan-Iran joint intergovernmental economic commission held in Tehran.

According to him, representatives of all three countries are conducting negotiations: "We are successfully cooperating with Iran in energy field. We already want to cooperate trilaterally".

The minister said that Azerbaijan intends to cooperate with Iran in oil and gas production.
