Turkey PM: "Olive Branch" not limited to Afrin

(MENAFN) On Friday, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said that "Olive Branch" offensive is not limited to the Syria's Afrin.

Speaking at a graduation ceremony at the National Defense University in Istanbul, Yıldırım reaffirmed that the operation would go beyond Afrin.

"This operation based on international law and our legitimate rights will continue to the end. [Giving] any day or date [when it will end] is out of the question here" Anadolu Agency quoted the premier.

Ankara, since January 20th, has launched a large-scale military offensive against the Syrian Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) in Afrin; the pretext of the attacks was protecting its boarders from (YPG) which Ankara views as "terrorists."
