Pakistan- Baldev Kumar to vote PTI for his release from jail Alleges son of assassinated MPA Sardar Suran Singh

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) BUNER: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led provincial government has reached an agreement with Baldev Kumar, the alleged killer of former minority MPA Suran Singh, to secure his vote for the party during Senate election, alleged Aji Suran Singh.

Aji, son of the slain MPA in a video viral on social media, claimed that the provincial government should have challenged Peshawar High Court judgment of Baldev Kumar's release at the Supreme Court of Pakistan, keeping in view his father's sacrifices for the party.

He alleged that Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and Speaker Asad Qaiser have promised Kumar not to challenge his case at the apex court but he would vote PTI in return.

Aji said his father was killed for carrying forward PTI's manifesto while the same party has elected his killer as an MPA.

Sardar Suran Singh was assassinated two years ago in his native town Pir Baba area of Buner district. The police had arrest Kumar and three others on charges of murdering Sardar Suran Singh.

Police accused that Kumar had killed Sardar Suran so that he could be elected as an MPA. PTI, in nomination papers submitted before Election Commission of Pakistan on a minority seat, had mentioned Suran Singh as party's first priority on the KP Assembly seat, placing Baldev Kumra as second option.

Kumar has been facing a trial at Anti Terrorism Court, however, ECP ordered the provincial assembly for administering him an oath while PHC has upheld ECP's order. Kumar would take oath on Monday.
