Bhuvi and Dhawan move up in the ICC T20I rankings

After their dazzling performances in the recent T20 series against South Africa, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan saw an improvement in their ICC T20I rankings.

Bhuvi, who took 7 wickets and was adjudged the 'Man of the Series', moved up several places to 12th spot.

Dhawan, on the other hand, achieved 28th rank. He was the leading run-scorer in T20I series.

In the ICC T20I Team Rankings, India retained their third spot. Even though, South Africa lost a point they remain in the 7th place. Pakistan continue to hold the top spot.

Afghanistan's leg spinner Rashid Khan, who recently topped the ODI rankings, did a double, as he became the new top T20I bowler after his fine performance in the series against Zimbabwe.

Ish Sodhi, Samuel Badree, Imad Wasim and Jasprit Bumrah are the other top 5 bowlers, in that order.


Kohli drops to 6th spot
T20I batting rankings


Virat Kohli, who played a phenomenal Test and ODI series in South Africa, had a rather weak T20 series scoring just 27 runs in his two match appearances.

The Indian skipper dropped three places to number 6 spot.

Colin Munro occupies the top spot in rankings, followed by Glenn Maxwell, Babar Azam, Aaron Finch, and Martin Guptill.

After a good run in the Trans-Tasman series, where he picked 3 wickets and scored 233 runs, Glen Maxwell regained the top slot in the all-rounder rankings.
