Mexican President cancels US trip over frustrating phone call

(MENAFN) Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto has suspended his trip to the US after having an irritating phone call with President Trump.

After the Mexican president laid out his plans to make a trip to Washington either in February or March, he "shelves" the trip due to a "testy" phone conversation with the US president on Tuesday.

The Mexican and US Presidents have reportedly "devoted a considerable portion" of the phone call talking about the planned border wall, when President Nieto asserted his country's refusal to pay for it.

Sometime during the conversation however, as the Mexican side claimed, President Trump has "lost his temper", while the American side claims President Nieto to have caused President Trump to get irritated due to his demand.
