(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Lamborghini Muscat officially unveiled the Urus in Oman, the world's first super sport utility vehicle at Barr al Jissah's Al Mazaar amphitheatre in an exclusive event.
An exceptional combination of supercar performance with SUV functionality, the Urus is a one-of-a-kind vehicle developed by the Lamborghini team who have blazed another trail in luxury and innovation.
More than just a great-looking SUV, the Urus creates a new niche in the luxury segment, whilst setting the benchmark for powerful performance and unparalleled design. The visionary approach is based on the infusion of the Lamborghini DNA into the versatile SUV, thereby redefining the SUV and taking it to another level of power and performance altogether.
Available with a 4l, V8 twin-turbo engine with 650hp and 850Nm of torque for maximum performance, the Urus achieves a top speed of 305kmph and goes from 0 to 100 in a cool 3.6 seconds. Borrowing its name from the mighty Aurochs, a large wild ancestor of the Spanish fighting bull, the Urus takes on the look and feel of the raging bull as depicted famously in Lamborghini's logo.
Gracing the premiere with his presence, the chief guest, H E Sheikh Khalid bin Omar bin Said al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service, along with Murtadha Hassan, chairman of the Fairtrade Group, and Faisal Murtadha, managing director of the Fairtrade Group, as well as Damien Percheron, Lamborghini area market manager, Middle East & Africa,took to the stage to unveil the dynamic Lamborghini Urus.
