Actor Dhanush to make his Hollywood debut this May

Taking massive strides as an actor, Dhanush is all set to make his international debut.
The film, titled 'The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir' (TEJOTF), will hit the big screens on May 30.
It is an adaptation of French author Romain Puertolas's 2013 novel 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe.'

Dhanush's leading lady in the film will be a French actress named Bérénice Bejo.
Besides them, TEJOTF features an array of talented actors such as Barkhad Abdi who has an Oscar nomination to his name and Erin Moriarty of 'True Detective' and 'Jessica Jones' fame.
The film is being helmed by Ken Scott who has earlier directed the Canadian film Starbuck (2011).

"I fell in love with the project. It's the story of a young man who comes from a small area in Mumbai. He knows nothing else but his neighborhood. We developed the script expanding on the concepts in the novel," he said.
