Delhi: Two minor sisters smothered by their own mother

It took a 'possessed' mind of a mother to sleep atop her two daughters, thus smothering them. You read it right. A 26-year-old woman is currently undergoing counselling for laying on her daughters and killing them.
The bodies of her two children - aged 5 years and 6 months - were recently discovered.
Post-mortem report indicated smothering as the reason.
Woman superstitious, say locals and family members
Reasons
"She said she found herself lying on top of her daughters when she woke up on Tuesday morning," said DCP (West) Vijay Kumar.
Due to 'divine visitations', the woman slept on them on Monday night, thus smothering them under her weight.
She slept beside her daughters, despite learning that they are dead. As per locals and family members Suman, the woman, was superstitious.
Husband called PCR at around 12 noon
No arrest, case registered
Suman, who works as domestic help, informed her mechanic husband after a couple of hours, who then called the PCR around 12 noon.
Since she was found to be 'mentally challenged', she was not arrested but was sent to Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences for treatment.
A case under Section 302 has been registered and probe is underway.
