Riyadh, Jumada II 6, 1439, Feb 22, 2018, SPA -- The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture announced that a sole case of H5N8 avian flu had been recorded in Kharj in the previous 24 hours, it was announced here today.
In its daily briefing, the ministry affirmed that the number of samples collected since the beginning of the spread of the disease reached 9,130 in the Kingdom's regions.
The results disclosed that 139 of these samples tested positive and as many as 13,204 birds were culled in the previous 24 hours.
The statement said the Ministry received four notifications and 13 enquiries.
