Olympics closing ceremony to welcome DPRK delegation

(MENAFN) South Korea has announced the DPRK design for a distinguished delegation to be sent to the Winter Olympics' closing ceremony.

The plan raised the chances for North and South Korea to maintain their talks, as assured by the unification ministry of Seoul.

The DPRK is to send on Sunday its delegation which has Kim Yong Chol, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, as its leader, to embark on a trip to South Korea for three days.

The DPRK's notification states the North Korean leader Kim to have by his side the chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland, Ri Son Gwon, along with other six aid staff.
