Pakistan- Red warrant issued for Mujahid Afridi in Asma Rani murder case, SC told


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday ordered Khyber Pakthunkhwa police to arrest Dr Asma Rani killer within a month and adjourned the case till next hearing.

Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, while hearing Asma murder case, remarked that Mujahid Afridi would not escape justice and would be arrested at all cost.

Deputy attorney general KP appeared before the court and said that red warrant has been issued for arrest of killer Mujahid Afridi.

The chief justice also warned district Kohat president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Aftab Alam, uncle of the accused killer, of strict action if he tried to influence the case. Meanwhile, the chief justice, while hearing murder and rape case of 4-year old Asma who was raped and killed in Mardan, asked the police to submit charge sheet within 10 days in Asma rape and murder case.
