(MENAFN) Authorities have declared that two employees died while 11 others were wounded in a bank explosion in Myanmar's northeastern city of Lashio, police refused to comment on any potential accusations, though they said investigations are ongoing.
The 27-year-old Lashio civilian, Lway Dehnin said that he's heard the sound of blast at around 4:30 p.m. close to two banks in the center of the city near offices of the ministry of health.
Yoma Bank stated that two of the employees at Lashio branch died, as well as confirming the temporary shutdown of two Lashio offshoots.
Phone services were unavailable at the bank when press agencies tried to call.
