All you need to know about the iPhone SE 2
Details
As per reports, iPhone SE 2 will get Apple's A10 processor with 2GB RAM and storage options of 32GB and 128GB.
On the design side, iPhone SE 2 may retain the 5S design with a 4.2-inch screen as against 4-inch on iPhone SE.
It may also retain TouchID sensor instead of adopting FaceID seen on the iPhone X.
What are the other rumors suggesting
A complete overhaul
Some theories circulating on the Internet hint at iPhone SE 2 adopting salient features seen on the flagship model- iPhone X.
If rumors are to be believed, the SE 2 may borrow iPhone X design elements, an edge-to-edge display, 3D Touch and a glass back to support for wireless charging.
Further, some reports suggest that it may not be available in every geography.
Apple is eyeing Indian and Chinese markets
Made in India
Some reports claim that the iPhone SE 2 will be manufactured in India by Wistron which has been assembling the current SE models since 2017.
Following iPhone SE's success after price cuts (due to local manufacturing), it is believed that Apple is eyeing the Indian and Chinese smartphone markets for its latest offering.
The phone is expected to cost around $400 for the 32GB version.
