(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Ras Al Khaimah Court's mobile unit has provided services to people at four distant areas in the emirate, according to a top official.
Dr Ahmed Mohammed Al Khatiri, chairman of the RAK Courts, said: "We have so far provided 28 services to 435 people at these four distant areas of Shaam, Al Rams, Al Zahra and Al Julan. The mobile court functions from 8am to 1pm.'
The RAK courts had earlier launched some campaigns to raise awareness among the public about the services available at the mobile court, he added.
"So many brochures have been distributed among the Emirati people, residents, taxi drivers, government bodies, health centres and malls. The RAK court staffers have also paid field visits to the northern areas of the emirate."
The 28 services include 23 notification services and five notary public and attestation services.
Dr Saif Ali Bu Khatameen Al Suwaidi, director general of the RAK Courts, said that the mobile court is one of the innovative initiatives of the RAK Courts in the UAE innovation month.
