(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 20 (KUNA) -- The State of Kuwait Embassy in Portugal has held a celebration marking Kuwait's 57th national day, the Gulf country 27th liberation anniversary and 12th anniversary of His Highness Amir's ascendance to power.
Ambassador Sheikh Fahad Salem Al-Sabah addressed heartfelt felicitations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jabar Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasions.
He also expressed congratulations to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti Government and the people on the graceful occasions.
The ceremony, held at a hotel in the Portuguese capital late on Wednesday, was attended by the local deputy parliament speaker, ranking political, military officials and dignitaries. (end) hnd.rk
