Dubai's Majid Al Futtaim to launch 100 Carrefour stores in Egypt


(MENAFN) Dubai-based Majid Al Futtaim Group was confirmed to have signed a deal for the launch of extra one hundred Carrefour stores in Egypt.

The Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation was declared to have signed the cooperation protocol agreement along with the National Service Projects Organization.

The deal was also revealed to be one step in achieving the objective Majid Al Futtaim set to play a role in Egypt's economy through opening the door for direct and indirect job vacancies, along with presenting Egyptians with retail, amusement and leisure destinations.

Majid Al Futtaim Properties' chief Abdalla El Nockrashy declared "this agreement comes in line with Majid Al Futtaim's commitment towards the socio-economic development of Egypt and subsequently fulfills the Government's vision."
