Registration for Doha Open Water Challenge begins

Doha: Qatar Swimming Association (QSA) has invited everyone to register for the Doha Open Water Challenge on March 16, 2018. The championship will be held at the Corniche, near the Orry statue.

Doha Open Water Challenge is being held as part of the FINA Marathon Swim World Series, which will be held in Doha on March 17. Top swimmers from around the world will be taking part in the gruelling and challenging 10km swim.

The Open Water challenge will be held in three different categories.

Group A -- Boys & Girls between 11-14 years old, 400m distance
GroupB -- Boys & Girls between 15-17 years old, 800m distance
Group C -- Open (Men & Women, 18 years old & above), 1.200m distance

Winners will be rewarded from each group and from the open group winners will be picked in different age groups.

The competition is open to everyone wishing to participate, provided they are older than 11 years and submit the properly filled event declaration forms.

Participants should wear FINA approved swimsuits for the competition and as per below examples.
