South Korean President demands measures against US bilateral trade strategies

(MENAFN) Resolute measures were demanded to be imposed by South Korea's President Moon Jae-in against the United States' protectionist strategies that are used in bilateral trade.

The South Korean President declared "regarding unfair trade protectionist actions, (the government) should take confident and resolute measures."

He explained "such as the filing (of a complaint) with the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the review over whether (the U.S. action) violates the (South) Korea-U.S. free trade agreement (FTA)."

The President also ordered officials to call attention to the US injustice against South Korean goods during talks over the countries' trade agreement.
