(MENAFN) The US charges against Russia of interfering with the 2016 election have been described by Russia's Foreign Minister as "just blabber".
During the Munich Security Conference, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov dismissed the indictment, saying "until we see the facts, everything else is just blabber."
When asked about the charges which were issued this week, he answered "I have no response. You can publish anything, and we see those indictments multiplying, the statements multiplying."
The foreign minister also pointed out how American officials denied any alleged meddling in the 2016 presidential election from any country.
