(MENAFN)An Afghan official has revealed the discovery of nine corpses of residents kidnapped in the early 2017 by militants in the country's eastern district, Nangarhar.
A province governor confirmed that bodies, with three tribal heads among them, were discovered in the weekend in an ordinary grave.
Corpses were found by civilians in neighboring Achin region, Sayed Rahman Mohmand of Kot district declared.
All of the bodies were kidnapped in Kot by the militants early of last year, while no body acknowledged their fatal death.
