Pakistan- CM Khattak intends to change BRT design for kickbacks, alleges Ziaullah Afridi


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Ziaullah Afridi on Monday in his adjournment motion alleged that Chief Minister Pervez Khattak intended to bring changes in Bus Rapid Transit project's design to take kickbacks and for benefits of contractor who was awarded the contract.

The MPA alleged that the contract was awarded to Maqbool Company that has turned all roads of the city upside down. He said moment throughout the city has become an uphill task due to damaged roads.

He asked that a committee should formed to investigate the issue and the report should be made public. He alleged that the CM was now trying to change design of the project for financial benefit of the contractor and get kickbacks.
