Virat Kohli's India have extended their dominance over South Africa by beating the hosts by 28 runs in the first T20 international at the Wanderers in Johannesburg.

Put to bat first, India scored a mammoth 203/5 riding on the back of Dhawan's 72 off 39 balls.

In reply, South Africa could only manage 175/9.
