(MENAFN)An airline spokesman declared 66 passengers to have died amid a plane crash in southern Iran.
Passengers aboard the plane were 60, with a child among them, along with six staff members, according to Iran Aseman Airlines spokesman, Mohammad Taghi Tabatabai.
Flight No.3704 was headed toward Yasuj, the southern Iranian city, when the plane fell near the flights station, some 485 miles south of Tehran.
The ATR-72 plane with a twin-engine turboprop model is functioned for short local flights.
