(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) BANNU: Negligence on part of examination staff of University of Science and Technology Bannu has cost a student a scholarship awarded by a university in China.
The student Wajid Khan said that he would take the university administration to court for the negligence due to which the chines' university has cancelled an awarded scholarship.
Wajid Khan said that he was awarded a scholarship in M.Phil in English literature in China and submitted documents for verification at Higher Education Commission.
He said that his degree completion dates were mentioned two years earlier as he had done post-graduation in Political Science from the university in 2015 while master in English Literature as private candidate in 2016 while the university has mentioned his MA Political Science completed in 2013 while MA English in 2014.
The mistake cost him his scholarship and now he feared HEC might cancel his degrees.
