(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 18 (KUNA) -- As Kuwait is affected by a strong dust storm, the current weather conditions and wind movements may result in thunderstorm, an official at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation's (DGCA) Meteorological Department said Sunday.
The department head meteorologist Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi told KUNA that the high temperatures would be between 26-28 Degrees Celsius today, adding that active south to northwestern winds at 20-55 kilometers per hour (km/h) will prevail while the state of the sea will witness waves at around 3-7 feet.
Clouds might decrease gradually with the lowest expected temperature reaching 9 to 11 Degrees Celsius while the speed of the northern winds will slow down to 8-28 km/h, he said, adding that the state of the sea will witness waves of three feet. (end) mf.lb
