Brexit: German Chancellor 'curious' after PM meeting

(MENAFN) German Chancellor Angela Merkel confirmed the course of Brexit to not be frustrating her, but rather makes her "curious" to learn about the plans the UK set following the Prime Minister's meeting.

The Chancellor declared her goal for a "close partnership" of equals as she stated her aspiration to create "common ground" on potential trade aims within the upcoming months.

Theresa May also declared her hopes for "bold and ambitious" trade cooperation, along with reinforced security plans with the European Union.

However, she declared it was not a "one-way street" while being overwhelmed with demands to disclose further UK information.
