Qatar, Turkey businessmen discuss tourism cooperation


(MENAFN) Qatar's prominent figures in business have held talks at Qatar Chamber headquarters with a Turkish delegation on strengthening joint support in tourism with the Middle East Tourism and Travel Agencies Association (OTSAD).

The Turkish delegation, led by OTSAD's head Hussain Arif, have been welcomed to the meeting by Qatar Chamber (QC)'s Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari.

Both parties have discussed different angles to improve bilateral ties, while the topic which had been the central of attention had been enhancing cooperation in tourism and investment sectors between Qatari and Turkish businessmen.

Qatari businessmen and Chamber officials have received an invitation from the Turkish delegation to attend the launch of the world's longest suspension bridge in Dardanelle Strait, this year in March.
