Pakistan: 8 deaths as bus drifted into ditch

(MENAFN) A passenger bus driving to the city of Karachi drifted off its rout and fell into a ditch in southwestern Pakistan causing the death of eight people, Pakistani official stated.

A High speed during a rainy weather seems to be the reason behind the incident, as told by an official in Mastung district, Salah Uddin.

He also added that the deaths included two women and three children along with 15 injured people. Furthermore, he said the bus was headed from the Baluchistan provincial capital of Quetta.

In Pakistan, such accidents may be very common, mostly due to the damaged ground works, carelessness in driving, and negligence of traffic regulations.
