Qatar- Onaiza Services Complex conducts over 20,000 transactions monthly

DOHA: The government services complex in the Onaiza at the Ministry of Interior conducts more than 20,000 transactions every month. The complex also offers services to elderly people and people with special need.

This complex is one of the largest service facilities supervised by the Ministry of the Interior, represented by the unified services department, in terms of coverage of the largest geographical area and the number of users and services provided to them.

The complex provides all services of several ministries, including the Ministry of the Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Passports, the General Directorate of Traffic, as well as fingerprint services, passports and travel documents, and it provides services for the elderly and people with special needs.

Major Ali Ahmad Al Obaidli (pictured), Head of Onaiza Services Complex, said that the complex covers a large geographical area covering the southern and northern city of Khalifa, Al Duhail, Al Dafna and Bin Omran areas, as well as receiving visitors from any area in the countries.

He added that the service complex is characterised by providing all government services in addition to the services of the Ministry of the Interior, which means giving the citizen and resident access to government services in the nearest place of his residence.

The complex is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and latest achievements of modern technology to keep abreast of the overall development of the country.

The complex allocates 13 counters for governmental services, 18 counter for services related to the ministry of interior services and its hall can receive more than 200 visitors at a time.

It was established to reduce the number visitors on the main headquarters of the General Directorate of Passports and facilitate services and make it closer to residents.
