University of Jordan, United Arab University seek scientific collaboration


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 22 (Petra) – President of University of Jordan Azmi Mahafzah and President of United Arab University Mohammad Albaili, discussed means to enhance academic and research collaboration between the two universities.

During the meeting, they also reviewed ways to activate the agreements between the two countries in the higher education and scientific research sectors and to benefit from opportunities available to enhance collaboration between the two universities.

Both sides asserted their mutual vision to increase the exchange of faculty members and students, and to hold scientific workshops and seminars.

Mahafza asserted the support of the university to all forms of scientific and academic collaboration, and to forming scientific research teams.

Albaili for his part, said that the University of Jordan helped in establishing the United Arab University by dispatching a large number of academics who are credited with advancing the university.
