There was plenty of action on day six of the Australian Open in Melbourne.
Defending champion, Roger Federer continued to dominate and former world number one, Novak Djokovic eased into the round of sixteen, while Maria Sharapova faced a shocking exit from the tournament.

Federer going strong in Australian Open
Hungry for 20th
Defending champion, Roger Federer looks in fine form as the Swiss ace beat Frenchman Richard Gasquet 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 to reach the round of 16.
Second seed, Federer will now face Hungary's Marton Fucsovics for a place in the quarter-finals.
The Swiss maestro is yet to drop a set in the Melbourne and looks on course to claim his 20th Grand Slam.
Djokovic eases into round four at Melbourne
7th in sight
After a poor 2017, Novak Djokovic is roaring back into form.
The six-time champion, Novak beat Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas in straight sets to reach the round of 16.
With his eyes set on his record 7th title, the Serbian defeated Ramos-Vinolas 6-2, 6-3, 6-3 and will now face South Korean Chung Hyeon for a spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Halep survives 3 hour 45 minutes thriller
Marathon
World number one, Simona Halep survived a scare to beat un-seeded Lauren Davis after a marathon battle to reach the fourth round of the Australian Open.
The three hour and forty-five-minute contest tested the 26-year-old Romanian who finally triumphed 4-6 6-4 15-13.
The epic match equaled the women's singles Australian Open record for the longest match in terms of games played.
Sharapova bids adieu to Australian Open
Kerber is on fire
In the battle of two former Grand slam champions, a lackluster performance form returning Maria Sharapova saw Angelique Kerber sweep aside the Russian to oust her from the tournament.
The German beat her counterpart 6-1 6-3 to finish the tie in just 64 minutes.
2016 champion will now play Taiwan's Hsieh Su-wei in the next round.
Paes & Raja oust Murray & Soares
Age is just a number
Indian duo comprising of veteran Leander Paes and Purav Raja staged one of the biggest upsets of the tournament knocking out formidable fifth seeds Bruno Soares and Jamie Murray to progress into the third round of the Australian Open.
The India duo beat the Brazilian-Briton team 7-6 5-7 7-6. The will now face Colombians Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah for a QF spot.
