(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) /wp-content/uploads/2016/07/malik-samarawickrama-e1469538551223.jpg">Cabinet has approved the proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA) to be signed with Singapore, the Government said today.
The Government said that cabinet approval for the FTA was sought by Development Strategies and International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrama.
The agreement consists of provisions regarding trade in goods and services, service liberalization, investments, public procurement, etc.
It was decided to sign the agreement subject to clearance from the Attorney General. (Colombo Gazette)
