(MENAFN) Former chief strategist Steve Bannon has denied to comply with a committee hearing as he refused to answer questions related to the Trump campaign alleged collusion with Russia.
Bannon's lawyer was confirmed by Representative Adam Schiff to have cited "executive privilege" which permits the president to keep information from the public, as a Democratic committee member confirmed "Steve Bannon and his attorney asserted a remarkably broad definition of executive privilege."
He was summoned to stand before the House Intelligence Committee and give his testimony before he was questioned in a meeting that kept going for ten hours.
