WHO warns Brazilian state Sao Paulo of yellow fever threat

(MENAFN) The World Health Organization (WHO) has notified the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo to be exposed to the threat of yellow fever.

People who plan to visit Brazil and its capital were suggested by the organization to get a yellow fever vaccine beforehand.

The warning, which Brazilian Health Minister Antonio Nardi said originated from "an excess of concern", follows a drastic increase in numbers of suspected and verified cases of people fallen ill with yellow fever.
