Afghanistan- 3 soldiers among 4 killed in Kunduz clash


(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): and Afghan forces have suffered casualties during a clash in the capital of northeastern Kunduz province, officials said on Tuesday.

Col. Ghulam Hazrat Karimi spokesman for the 20th Afghan National Army (ANA) division told Pajhwok Afghan News Taliban attacked several checkpoints in Talwaki area of Kunduz city last night.

He added three soldiers were killed and a fourth was injured in this attack.

According to Karimi, four Taliban fighters were also killed and six others were wounded in retaliatory attack.

He said there was no harm to civilians in the incident.

The Taliban have not commented about the clash so far.
