(MENAFN) Saudi Electricity Co (SEC) has reportedly inked a contract for the first unmanned electric vehicle initiative in Saudi with Japanese Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO), Nissan Motor Co and Takaoka Toko.

Fast-charger stations are to be constructed, under the terms of the deal, enabling EVs to be charged in half an hour.

SEC is also to be provided from Nissan three EVs as Takaoka Toko and TEPCO offer three fast charges.
