(MENAFN) According to a senior official for Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), a total of 130 business activities are to be conducted in 2018.
Director of Exhibitions at QTA Ahmed Al Obaidli declared "last year we had arranged about 120 business events. Up to April 2018, we have already planned 28 events. But our target for the year is around 130."
The director highlighted the significance of the business-events sector in supporting the tourism industry while also playing a crucial part in the national economy. Keeping that in mind, QTA aspires to boost the number of tourists when it launches the Next Chapter of Qatar National Tourism Sector Strategy.
