Trump administration to cancel 200,000 Salvadoreans permits

(MENAFN) The Trump administration determined to revoke permits granted to almost 200,000 El Salvador citizens to stay in the United States.

Following the 2001 earthquakes that raised havoc in the Central American country, the U.S. awarded Salvadoreans with Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

If a legal way to stay was not discovered, Salvadoreans have been given a deadline to depart the U.S. before September 9, 2019 or be deported.

Furthermore, countless Haitians and Nicaraguans have already been deprived of TPS by the Trump administration.
