Manzhouli's LPG imports exceed 1,700 tons in 2017


(MENAFN) Manzhouli, a main land port of entry on China's border with Russia has imported more than 1,700 tons of liquefied petroleum gas from Russia last year.

The region has officially started importing LPG from Russia in February of 2017, and the yearly gas imports reached 1,723 tons.

According to local authorities, LPG imports are expected to grow more this year to meet the demand of local consumers.

Lately, China has been modifying its energy structure to decrease pollution, and it has been shifting from coal to clean energy, which increases the demand for clean fuel.
