Afghanistan- NDS training centre in Kabul under attack after series of blasts


(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) A National Directorate of Security training centre in Kabul came under attack following five explosions on Monday morning.

The incident took place at around 10am near Dawat University. A Pajhwok reporter at the scene said at least five explosions were heard. A clash between security forces and militants is ongoing.

Nasrat Rahimi, deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, told Pajhwok Afghan News a group of gunmen were firing at the training centre form a newly-built house.

He said security forces rushed the site to ward off the attack, for which there was no immediate claim of responsibility.
