(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Sharjah International Airport (SIA) celebrated Bahrain's 46th National Day on December 16 with
passengers.
The day marks the anniversary of when His Highness and former ruler Isa bin Salman Al
Khalifa ascended to the throne.
To celebrate the day, SIA staff greeted Bahraini passengers arriving at the airport to enjoy their holiday in
the UAE, with gifts and refreshments and extended felicitations on this important national event.
Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, congratulated the leadership and the
people of Bahrain on their National Day. He pointed out that the initiative highlighted the strength of the bonds between the UAE and Bahrain.
Passengers arriving from Bahrain expressed their happiness with this initiative and its accompanying
festive atmosphere, which brought them joy and pleasure and reflected how deep the good relations of the UAE with its fellow states are.
