Some witnessed the showery drama while the others were mesmerized with the images and videos of rains, billowing clouds and lightening that were quickly circulated on the internet.
The UAE horizon was painted in a variety of hues and made for some stunning captures as the rain clouds floated to Ajman, Umm Al Quwain andFujairah.
One such Instagram video posted by @binmejren_sultan shows clouds flowing down like a river on to the desert area. The UAE's @Storm_Center also shared some breathtaking videos and images of the storm showing a serene white layer of snow over the desert while rains wait to lash the area.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted such weather conditions to continue across the UAEon Sundaywith the weather getting colder and rainfall is expected in some areas. NCM added that the windy weather will result in dust clouds and the waters in the Arabian Gulf andOmanSeawill be rough.
