(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) BANNU, 17 December: An entry gate to North Waziristan Agency was inaugurated in Saidgai area of Frontier Region (FR) Bannu on Saturday.
Modern equipment and search system has been installed in the gate. Major General Azhar Iqbal Abbasi inaugurated the gate, while military officers, officials of the political administration and local elders were also present on the occasion. The area elders thanked the chief guest and said installation of the gate was their long standing demand. They said they were facing many difficulties at Saidgai entry point due to strict checking and waiting for their turn. They said the installation of the gate equipped with modern facilities will reduce their difficulties and save their time.
The gate is equipped with all facilities of checking and scanning of vehicles. After opening of this gate, the people have got rid of long wait at the gate for checking to enter North Waziristan.
