(MENAFN) RTA director general and Chairman Mattar Al Tayer announced the key bridge located on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street, which is part of the Improvement of Sheikh Rashid-Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Streets Intersection Project, is to be opened by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) this January.
Al Tayer also announced that in the Q2 of 2018, RTA plans to open a tunnel that is to connect Al Garhoud and Mina Rashid in both directions. The chairman further added that the conclusion of the whole project has hit a 70 percent.
The statements RTA Chairman Al Tayer has disclosed came during an inspection tour of the project which is considered as a critical part of Improvement of Al Shandagha Roads Network Project.
