Real Madrid crowned FIFA Club World Cup champions

ABU DHABI, 16th December 2017 (WAM) - H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, attended this evening the FIFA Club World Cup final match in Abu Dhabi.

Spanish side Real Madrid retained the title after beating Gremio 1-0 in the finals.

Present were Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Head of the FIFA Club World Cup's Organising Committee,Gianni Infantino, FIFA President, Khalid Abdul Aziz, Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sport, Marwan bin Ghelaita, Chairman of the UAE Football Association, senior officials and a number of football legends, including Diego Maradona and Pele.

The world's number one player Cristiano Ronaldo scored for the champions at the 53rd minute of the game.
