(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) BANNU, 16 December: Four militants involved in bomb blast in Khadi area of North Waziristan Agency have been arrested, officials sources said.
Six people lost their lives and 10 others, including three soldiers, were injured in the blast. The sources told TNN on condition of anonymity that the militants have confessed their involvement in the attack during investigations. The sources said the arrested militants are locals and audio and video evidence has also been shared with the local elders. The sources said the security forces are committed to ensure law and order in North Waziristan at all costs. They said no one will be allowed to disturb peaceful environment of the region.
Officials also said that some elements are making propaganda over the law and order situation in Waziristan on the social media which is baseless. They said the people of the region are fully supporting the security forces.
