(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has distributed cheques among 35 families of deceased who died due to dengue fever in Peshawar.
The cheques were distributed during a ceremony here at Chief Minister House where families of the deceased were invited. The chief minister has given Rs0.5 million each to the families.
Addressing the ceremony, he said that cheques were distributed for the first time among the families of dengue victims.
Around 65 persons were died of dengue and around 10,000 were affected due to dengue fever, mostly in Peshawar.
