A cold front will bring cooler weather to Hong Kong next week as an intense winter monsoon lingers over southern China. The city will suffer a cold, dry and windy period before the Christmas holidays, according to a weather bulletin on the Observatory's website.

On Saturday night, temperatures will drop to around 13 degree Celsius and continue to fall in the next 24 hours.
