Wladimir Klitschko's robe from fight against Joshua sold for $215,000

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Wladimir Klitschko's robe, in which he walked out in April this year for his final fight against Anthony Joshua, has been sold at an auction for 160,000 pounds ($215,000).

Klitschko wrote about this on Twitter.

"£160K=$215K were raised in London at TheCharge2 by auctioning this robe (incl my prediction on a USB stick) that I was wearing at my very last boxing match vs Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium," he wrote.

Klitschko also said that all the funds raised would go to Klitschko Foundation projects.

As reported, the boxing battle for IBF, IBO and WBA Super world titles between Klitschko (64-4, 54 KOs) and Joshua (18-0, 18 KOs) was held at London's Wembley Stadium on April 29. Joshua knocked the Ukrainian down twice in the 11th round, and the referee then stopped the fight.
